Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure a productive learning environment
Support students, practice conversations in the target language
Assist students with the use of technology in the lab and with projects assigned by instructors.
Assist with tutoring and speaking practice as requested.
Assist high school students within immersion program partnership
Report inappropriate student behavior to the lab director
Maintain general tidiness of LLC
Fridays: clean the tables and keyboards with disinfection wipes to avoid spreading of diseases
Write an email to the World language professors every Monday (Lab director assigns this task for the fall / spring semester)
to remind them of the hours and conversation times
Answer and make phone calls as needed at desk
Complete administrative/clerical tasks to ensure the lab runs smoothly as directed by the LLC Director
