Job summary

WSP USA is offering an Environmental Science Intern – Fall 2026 position based in Sunrise, FL. This full-time internship is for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and aims to provide hands-on exposure to real projects while collaborating with senior staff and mentors through the Developing Professionals Network.

The role involves laboratory work, field data collection, data analysis, and assisting with project documentation and cost estimates.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited Environmental Science or related undergraduate program with anticipated graduation May 2027 or later.
Must be 18 or older.
Demonstrated interest in Environmental Science and related fields, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
Learn basic principles of Environmental Science.
Assist with laboratory work, field data collection, report writing and data analysis.
Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Complete tasks in a cohesive team environment.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and conduct.
