Smartly is seeking a Business Analytics Intern for Fall 2026 to join the Business Analytics team. You will transform raw data into structured models, build dashboards, and analyze datasets to uncover actionable insights for improving customer outcomes.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Experience with SQL.
Familiarity with data modeling tools such as dbt is a plus.
Familiarity with Python is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Transform raw datasets into well-structured data models for analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
Analyze complex customer and business datasets to identify actionable insights and opportunities to better serve our customers.
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards used by teams across the organization.
Support ad hoc analytical requests and investigations.
Work with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into effective analytical approaches.
Use AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of your analytical work.
Help explore ways for teams across Smartly to use AI to answer analytical questions more effectively.
Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
