Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Data Science & Analytics Intern for Fall 2026 to support Product Management, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. The role emphasizes turning data into business insights, building Power BI dashboards, and presenting executive-ready recommendations.

Onsite work is strongly preferred to accelerate learning and collaboration. The internship offers exposure to product management, manufacturing, supply chain, and strategic planning with opportunities to continue into Spring

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar BI platforms.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, R, or other analytical languages.
• Experience using AI productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Curiosity to learn products, markets, and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and decision needs.
• Analyze various data domains to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and self-service reports.
• Present findings and recommended actions to leadership.
• Document methodologies and insights for executives.
