Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with CAD or FEA software packages (professional, academic, entrepreneurial, or hobby setting).
• 1+ years of hands-on hardware experience performing fabrication, assembly and/or testing.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and/or fluid systems for Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy.
• Use hand calculations, FEA, and CAD to ensure hardware meets requirements.
• Lead design reviews and hardware qualifications.
• Serve as technical interface with suppliers and customers.
• Own the hardware delivery timeline from inception to launch and reuse.
