Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Falcon & Dragon Avionics Hardware Development team. You will design new hardware, troubleshoot assemblies, and own avionics hardware across the full product life cycle, from development through production and launch.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering and 1+ years in hardware design with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• 1+ years in electronics hardware design (academic projects, internships, or professional).
• 1+ years with electrical test equipment (multimeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Design new hardware and modify PCBAs to improve reliability and manufacturability.
• Own avionics hardware across the product life cycle.
• Update electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to boost reliability.
