Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, California seeks a Lead Inventory Specialist (Falcon) for the 2nd shift to oversee daily backlogs and coordinate resources. The role includes mentoring the fulfillment team and ensuring material availability for production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of experience working at SpaceX in materials management.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, forklift operation, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Support daily/weekly team meetings by participating to help the team improve.
• Oversee daily shift backlogs and ensure compliance to metric targets.
• Re-assign daily shift resources to meet demands.
• Mentor employees to meet supervisor expectations for the job.
• Train continuously to improve the workers' skills.
• Interface with other fulfillment centers and related departments to resolve material receipt and distribution issues.
