Job summary

Inspiration Hills Camp in Burbank, OH seeks a Camp Counselor for a seasonal summer ministry role. You will serve as a servant/host, modeling Christ and guiding campers through daily cabin life, meals, games, and chapel sessions.

You will live in cabins with students, lead devotional discussions, and ensure campers’ safety and well-being while sharing the Gospel. Must be 18+, pass background checks, and hold Lifeguard certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or a graduating high school senior).
• Background checks are required.
• Lifeguard Certification on file in the camp office for all lifeguards.
• Current BCi checks on file for all staff in the camp office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cabin of campers through daily schedules, meals, games, and chapel sessions.
• Facilitate small group devotionals and discussions (curriculum provided).
• Protect the physical and emotional safety of campers at all times.
• Participate in camp activities—hikes, games, and large group events—with high energy.
• Be with campers at all times during the week and support the Program Director and Chaplain.
