Job summary

New Life Center seeks a Recovery Ministry Advocate to support individuals facing chemical dependency, mental health, and offender rehabilitation. This role emphasizes Christian discipleship, faith-based programming, and guest care at the Genesis Program.

Responsibilities include safety, building operations, coordination with Case Management, and volunteer management. Male-only candidates preferred; strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred 1 year experience in a recovery related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years sober and active participation in 12-step programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Genesis Program at New Life Center.
• Administer alcohol breathalyzers and drug screenings.
• Coordinate guest transportation with volunteers.
• Lead educational and spiritual groups.
• Provide supportive feedback and accountability to program guests.
• Maintain building safety and cleanliness.
• Screen and approve Genesis Applicants with Case Manager.
• Oversee staff and guest conflicts and mediate as needed.
