Job summary

Christian Career Center seeks a classroom teacher to implement a Christ-centered preschool program. You will collaborate with a teaching partner to plan activities addressing physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs, and maintain clear progress records.

Responsibilities include coordinating lesson plans, following policies, and sustaining a positive relationship with families while participating in worship activities and school events.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development.
• Have specialized training in the early childhood field.
• Submit to a background check.
• Have a heart for under-served communities and participate in ongoing related training.
• Have a love for the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Be committed to Christ-centered pre-school education for children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Foundations’ philosophy by following established policies.
• Plan activities with teaching partner to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs of the children.
• Create schedules and routines to ensure children have predictable structure.
• Submit lesson plans in coordination with other classroom teacher(s).
• Maintain up-to-date records documenting progress.
• Contribute to daily worship and spiritual development activities.
