Job summary

Our Savior’s School in Salem, Oregon is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher to join a Christ-centered program. You will plan and deliver faith-integrated lessons, foster spiritual growth, and support academic development in a warm, collaborative environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (or equivalent teaching experience), teaching certification preferred, and at least 1 year of teaching or student-teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Elementary Education or equivalent lead teaching experience.
• Teaching certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching or student-teaching experience.
• Knowledge of child growth and development across instructional levels.
• Ability to create a safe, supportive, and challenging classroom.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the academic and behavioral program for the class.
• Tailor instruction to individual children's needs, interests, and backgrounds.
• Consider cultural and socio-economic background in learning.
