Faith Academy is seeking long-term substitute teachers to cover grades across HS English, JH/HS Math, and Early Education. Each assignment spans about 12 weeks, with a focus on high academic achievement and character development.

Teachers will guide and support students through the learning process, using data to inform lessons, and will collaborate with families to sustain strong educational outcomes.

Position: Long-Term Substitutes Faith Academy is looking for long-term substitute teachers who are able to teach a range of grades within our school (HS English, JH/HS Math, & Early Education). Each of these positions would span over approximately 12 weeks. Our teachers make a priority of high academic achievement and character development of every child in their classroom. Teachers are responsible for guiding and assisting students in their entire learning experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate outstanding classroom management that relies on positive reinforcement with high expectations, clear and consistent classroom systems, and procedures
• The teacher is responsible for writing and implementing lessons that are engaging and effective according to student data
• Create and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with families, including consistent communication
• Assess and evaluate student growth, making plans on a class-wide, group wide, and individual basis in response to student data
• Implement critical thinking through biblical integration in the classroom
• Demonstrate dedication and determination for student growth and success that is measurable

Requirements

• Current bachelor’s degree with Teaching Certification preferred (K-12 subs only)
