Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a qualified engineer to perform root cause analysis on defective products and generate detailed failure analysis reports. You will work with R&D and suppliers to identify root causes, perform bench-level testing on ICs, and document findings in Delta’s ERP systems.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or Associate degree with related experience).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Circuit analysis, bench-level equipment skills, and report writing.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot using schematics and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on defective Delta products.
• Write detailed failure analysis reports.
• Conduct bench-level electrical verification and fault isolation on ICs.
• Collaborate with R&D and suppliers to determine root causes.
• Enter information on all completed work into ERP systems.
• Provide technical support to repair technicians as needed.
