Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an EEE Failure Analysis Engineer (Starlink) to join its Redmond, WA team. You will analyze PCBA failures, perform destructive and non-destructive tests, and support investigations across production and pre-production hardware lifecycles.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on expertise in SMT, failure analysis methods, and experience with X-Ray, CT, SEM, and related techniques, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver clear results.

Qualifications

• BS in Material Science or related field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor, package, and/or PCBA reliability.
• 3+ years of failure analysis on semiconductor packages and devices.

Responsibilities

• Support analyses during development and pre-production phases of hardware lifecycles.
• Assist with analyses into piece part failures and non-conforming material.
• Support First Article Inspection Reports.
• Provide surge support for critical analyses and qualification tests.
