Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Faculty Physician, Cardiology Service, Department of Medicine

Available start date: Immediate

As a board-certified academic cardiologist, you will join a team of 13 cardiologists, 11 advanced practice providers, and a dedicated team of nurses and technologists, all committed to the cardiac care of patients with cancer. The Cardiology Service at MSK provides consultations for a 500-bed hospital, outpatient clinics, and supports a growing regional network of MSK oncology and affiliated cardiology practices. Cardiology is supported by state-of-the-art echocardiography, EKG, stress testing, and rhythm monitoring labs at the MSK main campus, other Manhattan sites, and regional locations. The service also manages implantable cardiac devices (ICD) for MSK patients and maintains established relationships with leading cardiovascular institutions in NYC and surrounding areas.

Core Skills and Abilities:

• Direct inpatient and outpatient cardiac care

Key Qualifications:

• An M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent, with excellent clinical, communication, and team skills
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
• Level II competency in echocardiography (TTE, TEE, stress echo)
• Licensure in New York or eligibility to obtain a medical license in New York
• A strong interest in academic excellence with a record of scholarly achievements
