POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Business and Management invites applications for a tenure-track or professional position in business and management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, effective January 2026. Areas of specialization are open; however, preference will be given to candidates with the background to teach a variety of general topics across the disciplines of business and management, ranging from Introduction to Business to upper-division courses in Business Law, Negotiation and Conflict Management, Human Resources and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Social Entrepreneurship. A well-qualified business and management faculty member will be a critical thinker who combines insight, creativity, and technology with a practical approach to business and management education. This position may also include the opportunity to serve as chair of the Department of Business and Management, based on the candidate’s qualifications and institutional needs.

SALARY
This is a full-time position. Placement at the appropriate faculty rank and salary are based on qualifications, education, experience, and Vanguard University's faculty compensation schedule.
Assistant Professor: $60,595 to $81,501
Associate Professor: $70,676 to $95,190
Highly qualified candidates may be considered for appointment as Department Chair, with additional compensation. Vanguard University also offers a very generous benefits package .
Vanguard offers both tenure-track and term faculty contracts. The type of contract offered will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications at the time of hire.
