Faculty Physician for Division Director - Associate or Professor Academic Track
The University of Minnesota, Department of Pediatrics seeks a MD/DO Physician, board certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics and Genomics, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to join the Department of Pediatrics: Division of Pediatric Genetics & Metabolism. This opportunity includes the role of Division Director and potential leadership of the Rare Disease Center of Excellence if interests, experience, and training align.
The Department of Pediatrics has over 380 faculty, ranks top 10 nationally in NIH funding, and cares for children at the Masonic Children’s Hospital.
The Division of Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism offers high-quality care, scientific collaboration, and interdisciplinary efforts. It recently established a National Organization of Rare Disorders-recognized Rare Disease Center of Excellence.
Opportunities for collaboration include the Gene Therapy Center, Institute for Personalized Medicine, and others. The division aims to be nationally renowned in research, teaching, and service, with a strong faculty committed to research, collaboration, education, and patient care.
Range: $174,000+, depending on qualifications and experience.
