Responsibilities

The BNI staff neuropsychologist provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment services within the scope of their licensing, training, and clinical privileges, and supervises and teaches residents and/or fellows as indicated. Staff neuropsychologists with dedicated research time demonstrate productivity in research through publications and grant funding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provides appropriate and effective neuropsychological care as required to diagnose and treat the psychological manifestations of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions.
  2. Works collaboratively with the Department Chair, Practice Manager, and BNI senior leadership to ensure that high quality patient care is provided in an efficient and consistent manner.
  3. Participates in the training, supervision, and evaluation of psychometrists, as applicable.
  4. Participates in activities that improve patient access and patient satisfaction.
  5. Develops and maintains positive relationships with community health care providers to develop and encourage bidirectional patient referrals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  1. PhD or PsyD
  2. Two (2) years clinical experience as post-doctorate fellow in a clinical neuropsychology program

Licensure

  1. Arizona Psychology License
  2. American Heart Association Basic Life Support card

Pay Range

$49.20 - $71.34 /hour
