Job description

Responsibilities

The BNI staff neuropsychologist provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment services within their scope of licensing, training, and clinical privileges. They also supervise and teach residents and/or fellows as applicable. Staff neuropsychologists engaged in research demonstrate productivity through publications and grant funding.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provides appropriate and effective neuropsychological care to diagnose and treat the psychological manifestations of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions.
2. Collaborates with the Department Chair, Practice Manager, and BNI senior leadership to ensure high-quality, efficient, and consistent patient care.
3. Participates in training, supervision, and evaluation of psychometrists, if applicable.
4. Engages in activities that enhance patient access and satisfaction.
5. Develops and maintains positive relationships with community healthcare providers to foster bidirectional patient referrals.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• PhD or PsyD
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a post-doctorate fellow in a clinical neuropsychology program

Licensure

• Arizona Psychology License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
