College of Central Florida is seeking a Nursing faculty member to develop and deliver coursework across the nursing curriculum at Citrus, Levy, Ocala campuses and the Hampton Center. The role emphasizes teaching excellence, student engagement, and participation in professional development and college service.
The candidate will maintain current nursing expertise, contribute to program development, and support recruitment and outreach efforts while fostering a diverse learning environment

The major responsibilities of faculty include five areas: teaching, professional development, college service, service to students, and public service, as defined in the "Role and Responsibilities of Faculty," which is published in the Faculty Handbook.

Master's degree in Nursing. Florida License requred.
Two (2) years current clinical or educational experience required.
Commitment to the college's objective of providing instruction for a diverse student population. Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills. Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods and the relationship to the pedagogy of teaching. Possess a high level of technical skills and subject matter knowledge as it relates to a specific discipline. Evidence of initiative, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
