Job summary

The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University seeks applicants for a full- or part-time Exodontist faculty position.

The major responsibilities include direct patient care and supervision of pre-doctoral students in the emergency and elective Oral Surgery clinics. The candidate must hold a DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program, be an active clinician, and be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from CODA-accredited program
• Active clinician with experience in a busy practice
• Board Certification or equivalent may be considered for international surgeons
• AEGD/GPR graduates preferred
• Pennsylvania licensure eligibility required; strong teaching in minor oral surgery and extractions

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in oral surgery
• Supervise pre-doctoral students in emergency and elective clinics
• Participate in teaching activities including supervision in clinics and pre-clinical labs
• Deliver didactic instruction as needed
