Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced Assistant Dean of Faculty to lead on-ground health education programs. You will mentor and supervise faculty, oversee onboarding and development, and drive instructional excellence across certificate programs.

Collaborate with Campus Director and corporate Dean of Faculty to align curricula, evaluate instructors, and monitor student success metrics while supporting campus governance and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, curriculum, health science, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of classroom teaching in health professions education.
• Five (5) years of experience using educational technology in classroom or hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

• Faculty supervision, recruitment and onboarding of on-ground certificate program faculty.
• Conduct orientation of new faculty and ensure adherence to accreditation standards.
• Annual classroom observations with actionable feedback and evaluations.
• Develop and facilitate continuing education and mentorship in educational technology.
• Coordinate curriculum updates with Home Office Education Department.
• Review end-of-course surveys to drive instructional improvement.
• Monitor student retention and success metrics campus-wide.
• Oversee lab equipment, compliance files, and Advisory Board meetings.
• Participate in leadership meetings, graduations and campus events.
