Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging educational environment where student-athletes are encouraged to achieve their holistic potential.
• Design, implement, and adapt instructional activities that align with curriculum standards and foster active, meaningful student learning.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and ensure continuous growth toward learning objectives.
• Differentiate instruction by identifying, selecting, and modifying resources to meet the needs of student-athletes with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities.
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and self-discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including grades, attendance, and other documentation required by laws, accreditation standards, and school regulations.
• Communicate consistently and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress, needs, and achievements.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning opportunities to support school initiatives and ongoing professional growth.
• Model high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions with students, families, and the community.
• Support school events, extracurricular activities, and other duties that contribute to a positive school community.

Job Title: English Teacher

Position Summary: The English Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging instruction that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, and the well-being of all students. This role requires fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment, maintaining high standards of professionalism, and collaborating with colleagues, families, and administrators to support the school’s mission. Through innovative teaching, effective assessment, and strong communication , the Teacher ensures students are prepared to win their future - in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.

Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time .

Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
