Job summary

Touro University California is seeking an organized coordinator to support Faculty Development, the Clinical Distinction program, and CME activities. You will work with faculty, students, clinical sites, and external partners, coordinating events, communications, and data management.

The role involves managing calendars, documents, budgets, and CME accreditation records, while providing LMS and software support. Local travel to clinical sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent job experience at healthcare/academic/business setting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with CME or continuing education coordination and email marketing tools preferred
• Comfort presenting in front of groups and hosting in-person and virtual sessions

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, travel, and virtual events; maintain departmental calendars
• Coordinate meetings with agendas, minutes, and follow-up items
• Serve as first point of contact for inquiries from faculty, students, sites, and partners
• Draft and distribute communications, newsletters, reports, and presentations; use mail merge and bulk mail
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for records retention
• Assist with department budget records, contracts, and reimbursements
• Coordinate CME activities from inquiry to completion with data entry and accreditation documentation
• Support Faculty Development and Clinical Distinction programs; track participant progress and evaluate data
• Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and automated workflows
• Serve as department system administrator for LMS and reporting platforms, provide training
• Identify and implement process improvements with IT and external vendors
• Develop marketing and communication initiatives for departmental programs
• Promote CME services and liaise with internal and external partners
• Coordinate departmental projects with timelines and milestones
• Plan logistics for meetings, educational programs, conferences and events
• Host educational sessions and present department services and initiatives
• Create and maintain presentation materials and multimedia resources
• Maintain proficiency in departmental software and technology platforms
