Alvin Community College seeks a tenure-track Communication instructor to teach across face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities at multiple College locations, including ISD high schools and TDCJ facilities in Texas. The role begins January 2027 and requires a master’s in Communication or a related field with 18 graduate hours.
Responsibilities include syllabus prep, engaging instruction, assessing students, advising, and active participation in curriculum development and program assessment.
Minimum Salary $46,628.09
Salary offer commensurate with education and related experience.
This is a Full-Time 9-month/tenure track faculty position, with a start date of January 2027.
Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include working days, evenings and/or weekends.
Provides instruction in Communication courses across multiple teaching modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Courses may be taught at various College locations, local ISD high schools, and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facilities.
