The role covers preoperative evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia, and postoperative care; requires Master of Science and NCAA certification with BLS and ACLS/PALS. New graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree: Master of Science.
• Required: Current Certification by the National Commission of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCAA).
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. ACLS/PALS card required.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Administers all forms of anesthesia including inhaled, intravenous, neuraxial, and regional for procedures.
• Assesses and evaluates patients prior to anesthesia to form anesthetic plan.
• Inserts and uses invasive and noninvasive monitors as indicated.
• Responds to emergency/code situations to manage airway.
• Documents anesthetic information and patient condition.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
