Job summary

College of the Mainland seeks a Biology faculty member to teach Anatomy & Physiology within the Biology Program. The role includes developing and revising curriculum and coursework, and providing scheduled office hours for student consultation.

Responsibilities also include serving on committees, participating in student-oriented instructional and advisement activities, and meeting classes as scheduled. A Master’s degree or higher with relevant graduate hours is required, with preference for

  • Master’s degree or higher in theoretical or applied Biology or Life Sciences field with graduate level hours in anatomy and physiology OR MD, DO, DDS , DVM , DC, DPT , PharmD, OD with graduate level hours in anatomy and physiology.
  • MS or Ph.D. in Biology and teaching experience in biology, anatomy and physiology at a community or two-year college.
  • Ability to teach anatomy and physiology courses.

  • Complete paperwork/tests and issue student grades as scheduled.

Class Summary

Responsible for providing instruction within the Biology Program. Develop and revise curriculum and course work. Provide scheduled office hours for student consultation.
