Grow Clinton is seeking a Dean of Professional Programs for Scott Community College. This role involves teaching courses in accounting, demonstrating excellence in instructional delivery and assessment of learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Accounting with a commitment to the college's mission. Additional duties include involvement in professional development, participation in college committees, and ensuring student success.

Starting Min: $51,618.03 - $53,136.06
Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in accounting. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
167-day contract
Location: On-site at Scott Community College and Muscatine Community College
Master's Degree in Accounting or a Master's Degree with 12 graduate semester hours in a related field with at least 6 graduate hours in accounting.
Previous teaching experience is preferred
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
