Job summary

SKF in Ladson, SC is seeking a Factory Supply Chain Manager to lead material operations, manage production schedules, and optimize inventory levels. The role drives strategic material flow, collaborates with production teams, and ensures on-time delivery to customers.

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years in materials planning/supply chain, or 7+ years with an associate degree/high school diploma, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum 3 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or Associate Degree/High school diploma/GED with 7 or more years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Materials Planning, or related operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; leadership abilities; capability to influence and lead small teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow the strategic direction set by Business Leaders and Site Delivery Leader for material operations.
• Ensure full raw material availability to the operation in line with the schedule.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials in cooperation with the production team and lead recovery planning actions.
• Review short and mid-term capacity utilization with Operations to ensure adequate capacity.
• Be the primary focal point for Business Customers, responsible for commitments (CMT).
• Manage inventory effectively and address aged WIP and slow-moving inventory with root-cause analysis.
