Finish Tech Corp. is seeking a process engineer to support production at our whiteboard factory. You will streamline production, assist with new factory layouts, and support business growth across our family of companies.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn on the job.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, production-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Production support / troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Improvements to production processes.
• Collaborate with production on lead times.
• Setting production schedule for large jobs.
• Root cause analysis of quality and process issues.
• Product development – Work collaboratively with marketing and President on new product development and introductions.
• Cost engineering – Working with accounting and production on setting production rates, making time improvements.
• Technical vendor management – On new and existing products, managing technical changes, new items, replacement items, troubleshooting quality issues from vendors.
