Job summary

Hadrian in Mesa, AZ is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own the factory IT platforms, deploy Kubernetes nodes, and build internal tools that speed the service desk. You will design, deploy, and harden the systems that power the shop floor and the rest of IT, while collaborating with security, platform, and DevOps teams to ensure compliance.

You will mentor Technicians, own runbooks and change records, and support on-site operations including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, with at least 2 in a systems admin, IT engineer, or platform role.
• Hands-on experience supporting or building services in an on-site production environment.
• Experience with Okta, MDM, and SaaS platforms; ability to drive a rollout.
• Strong scripting skills and ability to read docs and wire two systems together.
• Calm under pressure and able to mentor technicians.

Responsibilities

• Spin up factory IT sections, rack gear, image endpoints, and hand over documentation.
• Deploy Kubernetes nodes and line-side services with cross-team collaboration.
• Own IT rollout: networking, identity, endpoint config, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot incidents in real time and prevent recurring outages.
• Build AI tooling and internal tools to speed the service desk.
• Own core platforms like Okta, Microsoft 365, Box, Jira, and MDM end-to-end.
• Design identity, access, and lifecycle flows with SSO and least-privilege patterns.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and integrations.
• Partner with Security, Infra, and DevOps on hardening and logging.
• Mentor Technicians and Analysts; maintain runbooks and change records.
