Job summary

Hadrian seeks an IT Systems Administrator to own factory IT platforms, deploy Kubernetes nodes, and build AI tools to streamline the service desk. The role focuses on factory operations, identity, security, and end-to-end platform ownership. On-site work at the Mesa, AZ facility is required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT, with hands-on experience in production environments, scripting skills, and a track record of building or deploying scalable IT solutions for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, with at least 2 in a systems admin, IT engineer, or platform role.
• Hands-on experience supporting or building services in a factory, warehouse, lab, or other on-site production environment.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and deployments/troubleshooting.
• Strong outage instincts; can read logs and manage incidents.
• Deep hands-on experience with Okta or another SSO, Microsoft 365, and MDM.
• Strong scripting and API skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
• Experience building tools that speed a service desk (AI chatbot, agent assist, automation).
• Knowledge of identity, access, and endpoint security patterns.
• Comfort across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Clear writer; Jira updates and runbooks are easy to follow.
• Ability to work on-site at Mesa, AZ.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move hardware on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Spin up new factory sections from an IT perspective; rack gear, image endpoints, provision identities, and hand over documentation.
• Partner with factory, platform, and infra teams to deploy Kubernetes nodes and line-side services.
• Own the IT side of rollout: networking, identity, endpoint config, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot outages; perform real-time triage and lead follow-up to prevent repeat issues.
• Build AI tooling and internal tools for the service desk; wire chatbot skills into systems.
• Own core platforms end to end: Okta, Microsoft 365, Box, Jira, MDM, and related tools.
• Design and implement identity, access, and lifecycle flows; setup SSO, SCIM, groups, least-privilege.
• Automate repetitive tasks; write scripts and integrations to reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with Security, Infra, DevOps on hardening, logging, and compliance.
• Mentor Technicians and Analysts; review tickets and share patterns.
• Maintain runbooks, architecture notes, and change records.
