Job summary

J H Metal Finishing is seeking a motivated Factory General Help teammate to join our production floor in New Britain, CT. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on manufacturing experience and a pathway to build a lasting career in metal finishing.

You will assist with daily production tasks, load/unload parts, support technicians with plating and surface treatments, and inspect finished parts for quality. Join a dedicated team focused on safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, factory, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up and contributing every shift.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong work ethic with a team‑first attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
