Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial operations, with a solid accounting background.
• Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
• FMCG industry experience
• University Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
• Skilled in managing diverse P&Ls
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills
• Superior execution skills in a changing environment and ability to multi-task
• Good with numbers and data, but critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals
• Proven ability to not only deliver, but drive excellent work in a team and matrix organization
• Proven analytical thinking and seeing the big picture
• Proven ability to quickly learn and drive new concepts and processes
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Good knowledge of the business environment/competition/capacity to benchmark
• Good working knowledge of product portfolio and brand profitability
• Good knowledge of Nestlé Costing (CSM, CSD, CSW) [Internal Candidates Only]
• Proven knowledge of financial concepts including cost accounting, activity based costing, cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, etc
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Cash Flow & Continuous Improvement: Through their team, identify, drive and deliver cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives, validate, review and track proposed savings.
• Reporting and Analytics: Manage and interpret factory reporting of actuals and forecasts for the factory and key outside stakeholders; ensure transparency, accuracy and timeliness of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed by promoting ownership of data at source.
• Strategic Evaluations: Identify and lead strategic financial analysis relating to major or strategic decisions related to the factory to ensure full transparency of costs and non-financial implications.
• Business Planning: Drive business planning; Manage the overall factory budget with factory management team as well as being the critical liaison between factory and Head Office in the business planning process; Perform forecasts, revisions to simulations if needed.
• Capital Investments: Develop, control and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans and requests including post CAPEX evaluations.
• Performance Management, Development and Talent: Coach and develop the factory personnel with focus on finance individuals & team including career and succession planning; Ensure factory finance personnel are meeting/exceeding performance expectations.
• Knowledge Transfer: Drive clear understanding of financial key figures, costing and business impact within and outside the factory, including organizing training sessions for non specialists.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Manage routine audit activities within the factory to ensure compliance on critical areas eg) NAS, Costing Standards, statuatory accounting/tax, OPEX guideline and appropriately escalate business risks; As the Champion of compliance & risk management for the site is the key contact for internal and external audits within the factory; Ensure clear control and visibility of assets and liabilities, including the development, implementation and compliance with internal controls in all areas; Accountable for Segregation of Duties (SODs) and assessment of compensating control effectiveness. This includes establishing a solid and periodic monitoring of the internal controls effectiveness and appropriately escalating business risks.
