Job summary

GEOSPACE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION GROUP seeks a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to install fixtures, support larger runs, and perform software updates for smoother machine operation. You will diagnose issues and work with Injection Molding, CNC, and shop equipment in a busy manufacturing setting.

Candidates should be able to read and write English, understand electrical diagrams, and be willing to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical fixtures and supports.
• Update device software to improve speed or smooth operation.
• Install mechanical devices to support heavier or larger product runs.
• Provide technical support for Injection Molding machines.
• Support Machine Shop equipment: grinders, borers, CNC mills and lathes.
• Assist with forklifts and handcarts.
