Job summary

RTX is seeking a data analytics professional to create and maintain data visualization and statistical analysis tools for factory data. You will write scripts to convert diverse test data into standardized formats and collaborate with customers to reduce process variation and improve yields in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in at least one programming language, and experience with web applications; U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Perl, C, C++, C#, Java, etc.).
• Experience with web application development.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret. Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Python based data inquiry (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc).
• Exposure to statistical methods and tools such as Minitab, R, JMP, or SAS.
• Proven knowledge of database design and software architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of MSSQL, MariaDB or ANSI standard SQL.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Core/Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
• Angular/React/jQuery or similar JavaScript-based framework.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hybrid Work Arrangement:

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
