Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics seeks an experienced FACO Supervisor to lead the Final Assembly & Check Out of Block 70 F-16 aircraft. You will oversee a skilled team, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive timely execution of production plans in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

You will coordinate resources, mentor technicians, and engage with stakeholders to maintain quality and on-time delivery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Aircraft maintenance experience is required.
• Associate degree or 6 years verifiable leadership experience.
• Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules and resolve time-sensitive issues.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Ability to adapt to management operating systems.
• Experience with business metrics (cost, schedule, quality).

Responsibilities

• Supervise specific aircraft manufacturing areas, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
• Set priorities and allocate resources to support production schedules with quality and cost control.
• Lead Aircraft technicians, perform regular performance evaluations, and foster teamwork and high performance.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas.
