Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician to perform hands-on operations in our industrial warehouse, including drum pumping/dumping, offloading tankers, and general forklift duties. This role requires physical labor under challenging conditions with a shuttle option from Tooele/Grantsville/West Valley to our Utah facility.

Pay starts at $28.45 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company matching, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated stability in previous employment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift as needed.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and follow safe work practices.
• Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vans.
• Handle drum storage, repacks, and use of a drum scanner.
• Operate a forklift when required.
• Complete required paperwork for waste tracking.
• Wear full PPE, including respirator and hazmat suit.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Facility Technician performs a variety of hands-on operations including drum pumping/dumping, offloading tankers, unloading vans, as well as general forklift duties within the facility's industrial warehouse. This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions (i.e. extreme cold). We offer a shuttle service to assist employees commuting from the surrounding area (Tooele/Grantsville/West Valley) to our facility's location off of Exit 56 on I-80. We are searching for reliable and safety-oriented individuals to join our Aragonite team!

Pay: $28.45 hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations and offloading vans
• Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner
• Operate a forklift when needed
• Complete required paperwork for waste tracking
• Wearing of proper personal protective equipment for extended periods of time, including full-face respirator and hazmat/tyvek suit
• Other duties as assigned
