Textron Aviation Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks a Maintenance Technician to analyze, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic malfunctions on a wide range of process, delivery and facility equipment.
You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and infrared scanners, and document all activities in the Maintenance Management system. Collaboration with contractors and other maintenance staff to minimize downtime is essential.

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification plus formal technical training, including electrical/electronics, computerized/programmable controllers or other manufacturing technology applications. Must have a functional understanding in the use of blueprint, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams. Specific documented experience of service work directly related to this field and demonstrated ability can be substituted for this requirement if the candidate has a minimum of 5 years electrical/electronics, computerized/programmable controllers or other manufacturing technology applications in their previous employment.
A minimum of 1-year documented experience in a maintenance skilled trade related to the intended assignment plus 2 years' maintenance experience, or apprenticeship, in a related additional applicable trade or skill set.
Somewhat disagreeable due to temperatures, dust, machinery related fluids and uncomfortable working positions. Must not be afraid of heights up to 30 ft., and be able to work overhead and in confined spaces.
