Job summary

• Familiar with CMMS/documentation and safety procedures.

Job Summary

Under general supervision performs basic general technical tasks on: electrical systems, fire safety systems, HVAC systems, mechanical and plumbing systems, and architectural systems. Architectural systems may include, but are not limited to interior and exterior doors (including fire and some doors), ceiling systems, and wall systems. General tasks may include trouble-shooting minor issues on the pneumatic tube system, patient beds, nurse call systems, and televisions. General tasks also include shop cleanup and other general maintenance and upkeep. Works with a team and takes initiative. Helps maintain departmental compliance with governmental standards with documentation and with computerized maintenance management systems. Maintains a clean, neat and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Vocational / Technical in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance preferred

Work Experience

• Entry Level Electrical repair, HVAC, and/or Mechanical maintenance, installation or contracting (Required)
• 1 year Healthcare or hospital facility maintenance setting (Preferred)
