Job summary

Life Time in New York is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment inside a resort-style environment. No experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided, with a focus on safety and preventative maintenance.

You will log repairs, manage basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and coordinate parts orders with the department head. This hourly role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of related experience.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.

Our Fitness Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing fitness equipment within our resort-style environment. They ensure safety within the club by promptly repairing non-functional equipment and conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment. They also coordinate and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management. Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $25.50 and pays up to $34.25, based on experience and qualifications.
