The Facility Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility and facility equipment. The Technician will work with various tools and perform tasks such as plumbing, routine maintenance such as repairing office furniture, replacing light bulbs/fixtures, clearing pathways in winter. Ensuring the facility remains in optimal condition inside and outside.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspection of facility to identify and resolve issues
- Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks, documenting repair and maintenance activities
- Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems
- Monitor and manage heating, ventilation and air condition systems for optimal performance
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on plant facilities equipment
- Perform general upkeep tasks such as painting and cleaning
- Maintain inventory of facility repair equipment and supplies
- Participate in safety programs
- Communication and coordination with Maintenance Lead, and internal departments
- Ensure an environmental health and safe work environment conditions by complying with all Hanon Systems Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations.

Years of Experience
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliance and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
