Job summary

Webster Groves School District in Webster Groves, MO is seeking a Facility Tech II to perform HVAC maintenance across school buildings and grounds. Under the Director of Operations, you will handle preventive maintenance, minor carpentry and electrical tasks, and coordinate materials for daily upkeep.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in HVAC and building maintenance, with a high school diploma and preferred technical training or licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in HVAC, electrical and building maintenance or an equivalent combination of experience or training
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school preferred; Valid license or certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs HVAC duties and informs supervisor of needs
• Conducts preventive maintenance on buildings, structures, and equipment
• Performs minor carpentry and electrical work relating to building and equipment maintenance
• Requests materials, supplies, equipment and tools as required to perform duties
• Servicing of lighting and equipment and related circuitry
• Ability to replace defective ballasts, circuit breakers, receptacles, wiring, fuses, fans, motors and control wiring
• Performs other duties as assigned

# Facility Tech IIService Center - Webster Groves, MO 63119## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## 2026-2027 School Year**Primary Objective:**Skilled position performing primarily HVAC maintenance on all school buildings and structures. An employee in this class will be responsible for tasks requiring skills necessary to adequately conduct all aspects of maintaining the infrastructure of school buildings, as well as, the general upkeep of facilities and grounds on a day-to-day basis.
