Job summary

Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking a Facility Support Attendant for 2nd shift to help maintain the appearance of the Garden and assist visitors. The role runs 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and offers paid training, a chance to interact with staff and guests, and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming environment.

You’ll perform housekeeping, logistics support, and waste management while complying with safety and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be willing to learn new procedures.
• Present a professional attitude at all times under public scrutiny.
• Meet productivity standards.
• Ability to read instructions and understand cleaning product labels.
• Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 30–60 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work in varying temperatures and all‑weather conditions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general daily housekeeping duties.
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to visitors and employees at all times.
• Ensure that all recycled, compost and landfill materials are placed in the correct containers.
• Report all accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents immediately to your supervisor.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, wash surfaces, empty trash, and other duties as assigned.

You will get to be the face of The Missouri Botanical Garden during your shift. You may interact with Garden employees, visitors, vendors, and donors. Under general supervision, performs and maintains the internal and external appearance of the Garden. Paid training will be provided to ensure you are ready and prepared to welcome visitors to The Missouri Botanical Garden.

What You’ll Do (Highlights)

• Perform general daily housekeeping duties

This position starts at $ 1 6 . 0 0 per hour .
