Job summary

Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking a Facility Support Attendant for the 1st shift. You will be the face of the Garden during your shift, interacting with staff, visitors, vendors, and donors. Under supervision, maintain the Garden’s interior and exterior appearance and participate in welcoming guests.

Paid training provided to ensure readiness. The role requires a professional demeanor, ability to lift 30-60 pounds, and willingness to work in varying temperatures, including days, evenings,

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be willing to learn new procedures.
• Present a professional attitude at all times under the scrutiny of the general public.
• Meet productivity standards.
• Ability to read instructions and to understand the label on cleaning products.
• Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 30-60 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work in varying temperatures and all-weather conditions.
• Ability to work days , evenings, weekends , and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general daily housekeeping duties.
• Remain alert, courteous , and helpful to visi tors and employees at all times
• Ensure that all recycled compost and landfill materials are placed in the correct containers
• Reports all accidents, injuries, and near‑miss accidents immediately to your supervisor
• Sweeping, vacuuming , mopping, dusting, washing surfaces, emptying trash, and other duties as assigned
