Job summary

Waukee Community School District - Community Education is seeking a Facility Supervisor for community education programs in Waukee, IA. This role focuses on supervising facility usage, coordinating setup, and maintaining safety and order during contracted events.

Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively while enforcing rules for facility use by community groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals/groups that utilize school facilities to ensure adherence to facility usage guidelines.
• Complete facility set-up according to contract specifications (Tables, Chairs, hoop adjustment and other equipment as needed).
• Monitor facility conditions to ensure safety and minimize hazardous risk. Report any hazards to the supervisor. This includes tornado/fire safety, snow removal, and various certifications for hazards such as blood borne pathogens, CPR first Aid and OSHA regulations).
• Complete general cleaning (empty trash, sweep floors, vacuum, etc.).
• Unlocks facility doors at specified times according to contract specifications.
• Locks/secures facility doors after contract usage.
• Other duties as assigned.
