Job summary

Skiptown is seeking a Facility Supervisor to oversee overnight and day-to-day facility operations in a pet-care setting. You will manage cleaning schedules, coordinate maintenance, ensure safety checks, and lead the cleaning teams to keep every space spotless and ready for pups, clients, and staff.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, inventory control, and strong coordination with vendors and leadership to maintain high standards across all areas of the facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight and facility cleaning teams to maintain a spotless, safe space.
• Ensure all areas, including play spaces and restrooms, are clean and well-maintained.
• Identify facility issues and coordinate timely repairs with vendors.
• Conduct regular safety checks and document hazards or maintenance needs.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
• Communicate facility updates and priorities to leadership.

As a Skiptown Facility Supervisor, you’ll oversee the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our entire space running smoothly. From managing cleaning schedules to coordinating maintenance and safety checks, you’ll make sure the facility is always ready for our pups, clients, and team. You’ll also support and lead our Overnight Skippers and cleaning team, ensuring high standards are met every shift.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support our overnight and facility cleaning teams
• Make sure every space, from play areas to restrooms, is spotless and well-maintained
• Identify and fix facility issues quickly, coordinating repairs as needed
• Conduct regular safety checks and document any hazards or maintenance needs
• Track and order cleaning supplies and equipment, keeping inventory under control
• Communicate with leadership about facility updates and priorities

• Experience in facilities, janitorial services, or operations leadership
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a pet care or hospitality environment
• Vendor management or basic maintenance coordination experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working with cleaning equipment
• Tolerance for pet hair, dirt, and occasional messes
