Job summary

Skiptown is seeking a friendly Support Skipper for the Charlotte front desk. You will greet guests, answer questions about services and events, and help manage bookings and check-ins/check-outs for daycare, boarding, and grooming.

You’ll process payments and promote memberships, with a focus on creating a seamless guest experience. The role is hourly, part-time with weekends required, and involves standing for extended periods in a pet-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly and guest-focused
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Comfortable around dogs and pet environments
• Experience in front desk or hospitality is a plus

• Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
• Answer questions about services, memberships, pricing, and events
• Assist with check-ins and check-outs for daycare, boarding, and grooming
• Manage bookings and reservations using Skiptown's software
• Process payments for services, memberships, and retail
• Promote memberships, services, and special offers
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Communicate updates between guests and team members
• Document guest concerns or incidents as needed

As a Skiptown Support Skipper, you'll set the tone for every guest experience. From greeting clients and answering questions to managing bookings and supporting smooth check-ins and check-outs, you'll make sure everything runs seamlessly at the front desk. What You'll Do:

Musts & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to safely lift and handle up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable working in an environment with dogs, pet hair, and occasional messes
