Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate caregivers/home health aides to support clients in Sarasota. You will provide personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance on varied assignments across facilities and home settings.

We offer weekly pay with direct deposit, paid orientation, and RN oversight. Flexible schedules and facility-based shifts help you balance work and life while making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray required.
• Licensed driver with insured automobile.
• Ability to stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and assist with mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care and assistance with daily activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with daily tasks and transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, and meal prep as per plan.
• Assist with mobility and document changes to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
