Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Facility Space Planner (GS-0020-12) to support Mountain Home AFB, ID. The role involves managing human and physical aspects of facility planning, including utilization, optimization, and programming to fulfill diverse AF missions.

The ideal candidate will have a community planning background, strong spatial analysis skills (CADD, GIS), and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in community planning or related field with at least 12 semester hours in planning process, socioeconomic and physical elements of planning, urban and regional economic analysis, and development finance.
• If degree is in related fields without the 12 hours, at least 1 year of community planning experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities related to human and physical aspects of facility planning, including utilization, optimization, and project planning/programming.
• Interpret or extend policy guides and modify techniques to solve planning problems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to assign space in support of AF missions.
